MEDIA CLIPWAY SOFTWARE NOW ALLOWS JOURNALISTS TO SEND HIGH-QUALITY FULL-SCREEN LIVE VIDEO WITH INMARSAT BGAN

PARIS (April 17, 2009) - SeaMobile Europe, formerly Geolink, is announcing a major product update to its popular Media ClipWay software, which allows field journalists to broadcast live full-screen video from locations throughout the world. Users only need a camera, a computer with Media ClipWay software, and an Inmarsat BGAN to uplink broadcast-quality video.

The new Media ClipWay feature strengthens SeaMobile Europe’s position as the provider of the best all-in-one professional software for field journalists. Media ClipWay is the world’s only end-to-end software solution that allows users to send live videos at 25 or 30 fps, in a 720*480 (NTSC) or 720*576 (PAL) DV native format. With the enhanced function, journalists transmit via the 256k BGAN streaming channel, or better, using the new Inmarsat X-stream BGAN service, which delivers data rates from 384kbps up to 450kbps. There is no longer a need to book the SNG vehicle with this cost-effective, lightweight, flexible solution.

Media ClipWay provides journalists with an easy-to-use software solution that requires no additional software or technical expertise. Users either live-stream or capture and edit videos, select compression, and choose transmit video to send via their computer. The software supports any communication link, including satellite, ISDN, xDSL, and 3G.

During the NAB show (Las Vegas, April 20-23), demonstrations of Media ClipWay will be on display at Stratos booth (No.OE411) and Inmarsat booth (No.OE435).
